Second mission: Culture .  For this mission i chose to do YouTubing as it is one of my interests and i spend a lot of my free time watching YouTube videos. I thought this was a great opportunity to create my own channel that would be focused around my main hobby which is art, specifically drawing, painting and digital illustration/Graphic Design. For my first upload i chose to do a digital painting and i chose to do a time lapse video that captured everything i done but compressed it down into a short video. The main reason i chose to make a time lapse is because i couldn’t record on my phone with the lack of storage on it and I don’t have a camera, but i am currently saving up for a camera so that will improve the quality of my channel and my videos. Process: My goals for this mission - For this mission i hope that i can create a presentation thats easy to follow and understand for everyone that reads it. As i am doing the Art of the Animated GIF, i want to have a couple of slides with some popular GIFs that most people will know and i hope that will keep their interest into my presentation. The end product i hope to produce - By the end of this mission i hope to have produced a great powerpoint slideshow that will clearly represent what i am trying to achieve, which is too understand the Art of Animated GIFs. Introducing myself, My name is Darragh Cole and i am from Kells in Meath. I am 21 years old and have a great interest in Creative Digital Media , I done my leaving cert in 2016 and i did absolutely crap because I didn’t try hard enough and I didn’t know what i wanted at the time. In secondary school, I wasn’t into art at all and i actually never done art as a subject but i always used to draw and keep sketchbooks but it wasn’t until i took 2 years out and i found out what i wanted to, when I had finally made my mind up i started to look for courses that would suit me and i found one course that had quite low requirements and i ended up getting a place on the course!That course was in Dunboyne College and it was in 2018, I ended up doing really well in that course and that’s how i am here today!
